Boker 09RP018 Premium Honing Oil 118ml. Indispensable for sharpening on an Arkansas oil stone since the stones can neither be used with water or dry. This oil is absolutely non-toxic and approved by the USDA for food-processing cutting tools.

Use this oil only on stones that are designed for use with oil. Natural Ozark Novaculite (silicone quartz) Stones, best known as Arkansas stones or manmade Aluminium Oxide India, (Not to be confused Aluminium Oxide water stones), Silicon Carbide and Crystolon Stones. All these stones are designed to be used with oil.

CAUTION DO NOT use this or any other oil on water stones you will end up damaging the stones permanently and the stones will no longer be able to absorb water to use as the lubricant and flushing agent while sharpening. Water Stones are normally a much softer stone.
