With the head on a slant it exposes more of the blade at one end and the angle is more like a straight razor. With its heavy head an experienced shaver only needs light pressure to get a very close shave. It is very good at cutting through the toughest hair and stubble and is one of the best razors for sensitive skin because of the way it shaves. By pulling the razor straight across the skin it slices through the hair because of the angle the razor blade sits in the head.
