Naniwa Super Stone S2 10000 Grit. This sharpening stone series is ideal for the final polishing of Straight Razors and Knife Blades. Used as third stage of many sharpening stages of a Straight Razor to bring back a razor sharp edge. The 10000 Grit stone is used more as a polishing stage. When the razors edge has just lost its edge and needs a touch up to bring back its razor blade edge back to life. Next Stage is to use a 12000 Grit Stone or a leather strop.

These Naniwa stones provide a highly polished effect and stay flat for a long time. When sharpening, however, they provide a pleasant feeling as though working on soft natural stones.
They are ideal for sharpening extremely hard low-alloy carbon steels (White and Blue Paper Steel).

Before use, soak the stone for at least 10 minutes. Do not keep it in water permanently.
