Saponificio Varesino Morado Special Edition Shaving Soap 150g. A soap of the highest quality, with moisturising and foaming properties. It creates a Protective Film and gives a Deep Miniaturisation. Triple milled hard soap, to be used with a shaving brush.

The extract of Purple Corn (Morado) in combination with the characteristics of the 4.3 formulation and the addition of milk proteins, make this latest creation the undisputed apex in terms of protection, smoothness and foam quality.

THE AROMA:

An intriguing, full-bodied and persistent masculine fragrance characterized by woody and amber notes. The top notes present the fragrance with citrus hints of bergamot and mandarin, which enhance the aromatic and spicy heart of lavender, mint and gin-ger. In the soft base notes, sandalwood, ambergris and oak moss are accompanied by the sweetness of vanilla and a slight hint of tobacco.

The soap is worked in a extruding machine and then hand cutted. The logo on the soap is “hammered” as it was used to do at the beginning of the last century, before the advent of printing machines. A large soap (90 mm diameter), inside an aluminium tin enriched with metal label.

Usage Advice:

Saponificio Varesino’s formulations contain active ingredients that, in order to obtain the best perfomance, need to solubilize and/or melt. The maximum performance can be obtained in this way: cover the soap surface with a thin veil of hot water for few minutes. Soak a badger shaving brush, rinse it well and then pour the thin veil of water that bloomed the soap on the brush, and then start loading (20-30 seconds), face or bowl lather without adding water.

Directions:

• Wet your face with warm water.
• Load up your shaving brush with the desiered soap.
• Work up a rich lather in a shaving bowl or directly on your beard.
• Working in circular motions with the shaving brush helps to soften the beard, lift the hairs and cleans your pours.
• Shave with slow short strokes in the direction of hair growth, rinsing the razor often.
• Finish with a After Shave Lotion or Balm.
